PreSurge - Final Review
First off, I want to say that I was extremely impressed with this product. I used it in conjunction with IntraBolic and IntraXcell, both of which I have used in the past. For me, it has more than lived up to the hype, and is something I will definately be using throughout my competitive strongman season this year. Dosage I found that the sweet spot for me was 9 caps, approximately 30 minutes before my workout on an empty stomach. Energy/Focus This is one of the main things that makes PreSurge a winner in my book. While it has about an average amount of caffeine in it, it's other ingredients give it a very unique effect. The energy is subtle at first, but begins to build over the duration of the workout. When I would go to perform a set, I was completely in the zone, during almost every workout. It was almost like having tunnel vision, where nothing else mattered but the weight in your hands. And to top it all off, I have yet to experience any sort of crash from PreSurge. If anything, my mood is elevated for the rest of the evening after my workout. Strength This is another thing I was looking forward to testing out with PreSurge. Being a competitive Strongman, strength is obviously important to my. Over the course of approximately 10 weeks, I was able to meet the following: Squat before PreSurge - 445lbs Squat after PreSurge - 495lbs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tCrp-EOm3o Axle Clean+Press before - 255 Axle after PreSurge - 275 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LxYtimEM8SI Deadlift Before - 565 Deadlift after PreSurge - 585 (ALMOST hit 605! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7a9rASBJ_dE Overall I am very impressed with PreSurge, and it will continue to be a staple in my supplement regime. My strength went WAY up. At this time, I fully intend on using this throughout numerous Strongman competitions this summer. Last edited by beast69; 03-10-2009 at 01:32 AM. |
